Have you heard anyone say, if you give someone an inch they will take a mile. Well I asked a family member would they help on my next book I would be getting publish. What I wanted them to do was just proofread the story that I already wrote, they began to want to do other things I didn't ask them to do. Now I am, and always will be in charge of my book until I give it to my publishing company to work for me. She wanted to type the story, rewrite the story, and said she know Marketing, says that what she went to school for. That's all fine but that is not what I ask her to do.
Should have went by my old saying which is to never work with a family member or friend.
